UMMB Donates Medicines to Ntugamu Health Center III.
The Uganda Muslim Medical Bureau (UMMB), the medical arm of Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC), has donated a range of essential medicines to Ntugamu Health Center III. This health center, established by the Ntugamu Muslim District, is located at Ntugamu Muslim District headquarters in Ntugamo town.
The UMMB team, led by Muzamir Kivumbi, the Acting Executive Secretary of UMMB, along with other staff, delivered the medicines to the facility. Sheikh Swaleh Kashangirwe, the Kadhi of Ntugamu Muslim District, received the consignment on behalf of Ntugamu Health Center III. He was accompanied by other Muslim leaders, including medical professionals.
Kivumbi shared that this donation is part of an ongoing program aimed at improving access to medicine and medical supplies, thereby enhancing the quality of healthcare services within the community. Sheikh Kashangirwe expressed his gratitude to the Bureau and described the donation as both timely and vital for the well-being of the community members.
