Hon. Habib Mustafa born 14th/01/1997 in bombo, Luweero district, Nubian by tribe, went to Nkokonjeru Islamic primary school, Abdul kadir Quranic school – Luweero, Kakungulu High school – Bombo, and Kampala University, having a bachelor’s degree in Education with arts, Certificate in policy analysis and regional integration and a certificate in graphics designing and media.
He is a Member of General Assembly representing the Youth of East Buganda Muslim Region, a youth leader in Luweero district under Local government and a member of UG – Cuba Solidarity Movement.
Secretary for Youth Affairs
Duties
- Be a secretary to the UMSC Youth Council;
- Be in-charge of all Muslim youths in the Country;
- Advice the UMSC on youth matters in the Country;
- Promote youths’ activities within the Muslim structure and beyond;
- Work closely and coordinate Muslim youth projects through government and other development partners;
- Organize and preside over youth activities and functions including entertainment in conjunction with relevant departments;
- Empower the youth socially, economically and politically; and
- Carry out any other duty that may be assigned to by the Secretary General and the Management Committee in behalf of the General Assembly.
