UMSC National Chairperson Arrives in South Sudan
Hon. Prof. Dr Muhamadi Lubega Kisambira, the UMSC National Chairperson, has safely arrived in the South Sudan Capital, Juba, for a three-day working visit upon the invitation of Muslim leaders.
He was warmly received by Sheikh Jarnabi Khamis Mursal, the Deputy Secretary of the South Sudan Islamic Council (SSIC), Senior Commissioner of Police Moses Sakira, who is attached to the Ugandan Embassy in Juba, as well as His Excellency Sheikh Twaha Uthuman Musa, a Special Envoy to His Eminence Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda in Juba, along with other dignitaries.
The purpose of this visit is to further strengthen the cooperation that was signed between the two brotherly Islamic organizations two years ago. During his stay, he is also expected to hold meetings with high-ranking officials of the South Sudan government before returning home.
