H.E the Mufti hosts Munadhamat Dawa Al Islamia, Secretary General.
His Eminence Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda has hosted Hon. Muhammad Adam, the Secretary General of Munadhama Dawa Al Islamia, an International Islamic Charity. Accompanied by his Country Director, Omer Muhammad El Gaz, Hon. Muhammad Adam met the Mufti at his office at Uganda Muslim Supreme Council-UMSC Headquarters in Old Kampala on Wednesday afternoon Aug 3rd, 2023.
During the courtesy call, the guests explained that the purpose was to acquaint the Mufti’s Office with the relocation of the organization’s Headquarters from Sudan’s capital, Khartoum, to its new home in Kampala. In his welcoming remarks, the Mufti extended a warm reception to the charity and praised their non-discriminative activities towards people of different denominations, ethnicities, and affiliations.
He cited numerous pro-people projects they have accomplished in Uganda over the years, including fixing boreholes, constructing schools, mosques and health facilities, among others.
He expressed UMSC’s commitment to strengthen cooperation with the brotherly organization. In attendance were Hon. Muhammad Ali Aluma, the UMSC Secretary General, Sheikh Juma Bakhit Cucu, the UMSC Education Secretary, Sheikh Jamir Kassim Ntambi, the Kadhi of Lubaga Muslim District, among others.
