WICS Officials visit H.E the Mufti
A team of five officials from the Libyan based International Charity, World Islamic Call Society led by its steering Chairman, Dr. Saleh Salem Abdulhader, has paid a courtesy call on His Eminence Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda at the UMSC Headquarters in Old Kampala.
The visitors joined other congregants for the Friday prayers at the National Mosque shortly after their arrival before meeting the Mufti. The delegation had a wide range of discussion with the Mufti torching on among other issues the renewal of the Cooperation between the two Organizations like it was prior to the change of Gov’t in Libya.
In attendance were UMSC officials led by Hon. Muhammad Ali Aluma, the UMSC Secretary General, Dr. Sheikh Ziyad Swaleh Lubanga, the Director of Sharia, Sheikh Abdu Obeid Kamulegeya, the head of Shura Committee, Haj Jamada Luta Musoke, the Deputy Chairperson of UMSC Property & Endowment Trust , Sheikh Imran Ssali, the Secretary for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Jamir Byandala, a Member of Majlis Al Ulama Committee, Sheikh Abdul-Karim Abdallah Katamba, the Director of Halal, Hon. Sinan Abdu Nsenye, the Secretary for Finance and Planning and Sheikhat Radhiyya Namakula, the Secretary for Women and Children’s Affairs among others.
