H.E the Mufti mourns Haj Kyanjo’s Passing
His Eminence Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje mourns the passing of Haj Hussein Kyanjo, the former Makindye West Member of Parliament. “Kyanjo was one of the active and astute debater during his tenure in Parliament,” the Mufti said in a brief message. He noted that Kyanjo teamed up with other elite Muslims to ensure Muslim rights and voices are heard on key issues affecting the country.
Sheikh Mubaje noted that Haj Kyanjo will be dearly missed by the Muslim fraternity and the country in general. He prayed that the Almighty Allah grants him a death of a Shaheed after battling illness, which saw him and out of hospital for several years.
