Dhul Hijjah Crescent has appeared
The new crescent marking the commencement of Dhul Hijja, which marks the beginning of the Haj rituals has appeared. Dr. Ziyad Lubanga, the Director of Sharia at Uganda Muslim Supreme Council-UMSC has announced.
According to Dr. Lubanga, this also marks the commencement of the ten days of fasting for Dhul Hijja on June 19th, 2023 that prophet Muhammad (Peace He Upon Him), said are the best days of the year and attract huge rewards from the Almighty Allah.
He encouraged those who intend to slaughter animals on the feast of Eid Adhuha to observe all the relevant rituals until after the Eid prayers.
Dr. Lubanga also revealed that the day of Arafat will follow on June 27th and Eid Adhuha Cerebrations on June 28th, 2023.
