ICUC holds colorful 3rd Graduation Ceremony

The Uganda Muslim Supreme Council-UMSC based Islamic Call University College (ICUC) held its 3rd graduation ceremony on Monday. The event was filled with color and saw the graduation of 244 students from various disciplines.
The graduates received degrees in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Procurement Supplies & Logistics Management, Islamic Banking & Finance, Public Administration, Conflict Resolution & Peace Studies, Computer Science, Information Technology, Islamic Studies & Arabic Language, Sharia, Early Childhood Education, and more.

Hon. Lukia Nakadama Isanga, the 3rd Deputy Prime Minister, represented the Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabanja, the Prime Minister as the chief guest. The Prime Minister expressed belief in the university’s importance for the future and emphasized the need for intellectual power in shaping national policies and development. “The government sees the students as potential partners in the sustainable development and social stability of the nation,” she said.

His Eminence Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda and Chancellor of ICUC, acknowledged the journey the students have undertaken and wished them success in their careers, personal joy, peace, and fulfillment in their lives.
Other notable speakers included Madam Aminah Zawedde, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, Dr. Khaled Shujja Al Otaibi, Vice Chairman of Insan International Charitable Organization, Prof. Dr. Eng. Badru M. Kiggundu, Chairperson of ICUC Governing Council, and Dr. Abdallah Edris Serwadda, Acting Principal of ICUC.
The event was attended by esteemed personalities, including Prof. Dr. Badru Dungu Kateregga, the Chancellor of Kampala University, Prof. Ismaili Simbwa Gyagenda, the Rector of IUIU, Hon. Muhammad Ali Aluma, the UMSC Secretary General, members of the General Assembly, executives, Majlis Al Ulama, management, Regional Assistants to the Mufti, district Kadhis, former UMSC leaders, civil servants, and others.
