The Idaad and Thanawi results were officially released by the Deputy Secretary General Hon Ali Aluma Muhammad together with secretary for education Sheikh Juma Bakhit Cucu and Sheikh Ziyad Swaleh Lubanga the secretary for ITEB in February, 2026 in Kawempe, Kampala.
Idaad Level;
- Candidates who passed with 1st grade were 1,119 candidates with 749 boys and 370 girls
- Grade 2 where 812 candidates with 495 boys and 317 girls
- Grade 3 were 476 candidates with 284 boys and 192 girls
- Grade 4 were 302 with 165 boys and 137 girls
And the number of those that failed were 280 with boys 167 and girls 113
Best performed subject was Ibadat then followed by Tarehe Al-Islam
Thanawi Level;
schools that sat for the Thanawi examinations were sixty (60) schools.
- Candidates who passed with 1st grade were 348 candidates with 94 girls and 254 boys
- Grade 2 were 231 candidates with 59 girls and 172 boys
- Grade 3 were 113 candidates with 28 girls and 85 boys
- Grade 4 were 49 candidates with 14 girls and 35 boys
Best performed was Tilawa-Wa-Tajiweed, then followed by Tarehe Islam
