Bilal FC Defeats KS Sparta 09 FC in the Final
The Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC)-based Bilal Football Club has won the Kampala Central Division Football 2nd Division League trophy after defeating KS Sparta 09 Football Club in the final match.
The thrilling game was played at Buganda Road Sports Ground in Central Kampala City on Sunday, June 29, 2026.
Bilal FC, wearing white jerseys with blue stripes, was led by captain Luwemba Naswiri. The team displayed a strong performance, dominating the match with impressive ball control and attacking play, as it broke through Sparta 09’s defence to secure a convincing 4–0 victory.
The match concluded with an awards ceremony, during which each player received a silver-coated medal from Sheikh Juma Cucu, the UMSC Education and Sports official representing the Mufti.
Also present at the event was Madam Afua Mugumya, the UMSC Accountant.
